Acerola Cherry (Malpighia glabra) is a tropical fruit with high content of natural source of Vitamin C. Acerola cherry also contains other phytonutrients such as flavonoids, carotenoids as well as micronutrients such as vitamin A, vitamin B, iron, calcium, phosphorus, potassium and magnesium. This non-acidic source of vitamin C is gentle and non-irritating to the stomach.
Vitamin C deficiency is rather common in guinea pigs because their body are unable to produce their own vitamin C. Therefore, they need to get the vitamin C from their diet, otherwise they are at risk of developing Scurvy.

Active ingredient (per 1 tablet): Acerola Cherry Extract (25% vitamin C) 100mg
Other Ingredients: Maltitol (Prebiotic), Wheat Dextrin (Soluble Fibre), Microcrystalline Cellulose, Fruity Flavour, Silicon Dioxide, Copovidone and Magnesium Stearate.
